Are all 30 MLB teams included?
Yes. All 30 active franchises across the American League and National League, covering all 6 divisions. The Oakland Athletics are included under their current name.
Can I filter to just AL or NL teams?
Use the league filter at the top of the controls. Pick AL and you're drawing from 15 teams only. You can stack it with a division filter too — AL East gives you the Orioles, Red Sox, Yankees, Rays, and Blue Jays.
Can I pick multiple teams at once without repeats?
Set the count to however many you need and click once. The generator pulls from the pool without replacement, so the same team can't appear twice in one draw.
What does "exclude already-picked teams" do?
Once a team is drawn, it's off the board for the rest of your session. Each new click only pulls from franchises that haven't come up yet. Hit "Reset & start over" to put all 30 back in play.
Is the result actually random, or does it favor big-market teams?
Actually random. Fisher-Yates gives every team in the pool an identical probability. The Dodgers and Yankees have the same odds as the Marlins and Pirates — 1 in 30 each from a full pool.
Can I use this for MLB The Show Road to the Show or franchise mode?
Yep, that's one of the most common uses. Pick a team here, start your save with that franchise. It's how you end up grinding a rebuild in Pittsburgh instead of skipping straight to the Dodgers roster.
